offering people (including those who are disadvantaged in the labour market) a place where they can connect with themselves and nature, understand their own strengths and develop through activities such as working on the land and in the woods, and everything else directly or indirectly related or conducive to that in the broadest sense of the Binnenbos<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b60cd94 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b60cd94\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>ForestPeace Foundation made its first purchase in 2019. This was the Sterkenburg nature reserve and Hofstede Peppelkamp in Driebergen-Rijsenburg (Netherlands). The estate covers a total of eighty hectares.<\/p><p>We have given it a name, Natuurplaats Binnenbos. This \u2018Inner Woodland Nature Site\u2019 (that\u2019s what it means) is a unique combination of woodland, natural grassland and farmland. The farmer lives on the farm and you can buy all kinds of fresh fruit and vegetables there. The community owns the farm, including the land and buildings.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.deplaatsen.com\/\">De Kleine Aarde<\/a> (Small World) will be the first centre of knowledge and practice in a network of Plaatsen. The aim of the Plaatsen \u2013 Places \u2013 is to work with agricultural businesses and players within the system in the Netherlands to learn about (and work towards) a regenerative food system that we can be proud to pass on to future generations.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ark.eu\/\"><span>Ark Rewilding Nederland<\/span><\/a> creates robust nature reserves where nature is allowed to take its course as much as possible. ARK sees nature development in the context of social interests such as recreation, mineral extraction and climate adaptation, and aims for nature that is freely accessible.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iucn.nl\/en\/project\/land-acquisition-fund\/\" target=\"_blank\">IUCN Land Acquisition Fund<\/a>&nbsp;helps nature organizations with expanding, connecting and safeguarding habitats for endangered species.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/treesforlife.org.uk\" target=\"_blank\">Trees for Life<\/a>&nbsp;stands at the forefront of rewilding in the Scottish Highlands. Hopeful and bold, they are committed to creating nature-rich landscapes that include and support people.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/doggerland.earth\" target=\"_blank\">Doggerland Foundation<\/a>&nbsp;protects and regenerates North Sea nature, biodiversity and climate buffers.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/seashepherd.org\" target=\"_blank\">Sea Shepherd&#8217;s<\/a>&nbsp;mission is to protect and conserve the world&#8217;s oceans and marine wildlife.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.carpathia.org\" target=\"_blank\">Foundation Conservation Carpathia<\/a>&nbsp;is involved in creating a new, non-destructive economy around the F\u0103g\u0103ra\u0219 Mountains, for the benefit of biodiversity and local communities.<br><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/dejongevoedselbosboeren.nl\" target=\"_blank\">In Food Forest De Laar<\/a>&nbsp;people can meet each other, harvest together, taste, discover and enjoy.
