About the initiative
Clever use of intelligence and collaboration with local government organizations are how the WJC manages to arrest the leaders of this lucrative trade and bring them to justice. Targeting the bosses of the bosses behind the poachers makes it possible to disband entire networks and the WJC is an effective protector of biodiversity, both on land and in the sea. The Wildlife Justice Commission provides:
- Conservation of specific species and protection of biodiversity
- Assistance in arresting and trying criminals
- Informing and training local authorities
